Advisory Services for the Establishment of a Microfinance Competence Centre

LFS was commissioned by GTZ to advise the Uganda Institute of Bankers (UIB) in setting up a Microfinance Competence Centre (MCC).

LFS elaborated a business plan, including a market study for the MCC. Furthermore, LFS developped the basic structure of the training programme to be established. LFS advised the establishment of the MCC as a profict sencre of UIB. Regarding services, MCC would offer training and business advisory services to MFIs in Uganda. Also, it would provide information to MFIs on best practices and other issues.
