Ahmad Al Ani joined the LFS Advisory Services Department in January 2014 as a Banking Consultant. Since then, he worked in consultancy services projects in several microfinance banks in the MENA region, Azerbaijan, and sub-Saharan countries. Currently, he is working as Chief Credit Officer in AB Bank Rwanda. Prior to joining LFS, Mr. Al Ani worked for more than ten years as Head of SME, Project Manager, Credit Manager, Products Development Manager, and Deposit Mobilization Manager in several traditional commercial banks as well as MFIs in the MENA region, Central Asian countries and Sub-Saharan countries. Prior to this, he worked in an international auditing firm in the area of Risk Management, Internal Audit and External Audit for two years in Syria, Yemen and Egypt.
Arzu Bayramov has been working for LFS since 2008, interrupted by a two-year break. Mr. Bayramov is now Head of SME at the AccessBank Rwanda. From 2014 to 2016, Mr Bayramov worked as SME Trainer at AccessBank Tanzania. Prior to that, he worked one year as Regional Manager in AccessBank Tanzania, 1,5 years as Head of SME in AccessBank Tanzania and held positions in AccessBank Liberia and AccessBank Azerbaijan. Mr Bayramov holds a diploma in Finance & Economics and in International Management and speaks Azerbaijani, Turkish, English, and Russian.
Evelyn Borchardt joined LFS in 2011. Ms. Borchardt is HR Advisor at LFS Head Office. Prior to that, she worked as HR Professional in the Microfinance sector. She holds a diploma in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Trade, Finance & Development. Ms. Borchardt speaks German, English and Spanish.
Julika Breyer has been working for LFS since 2008. Ms. Breyer is Senior Consultant and currently part of the LFS Learning & Development Team in our Head Office in Berlin. In addition, Ms. Breyer is Director on the Supervisory Board of AB Bank Rwanda. From 2012 to 2014, she worked as Chief Credit Officer at AB Bank Zambia after having been part of the LFS Advisory Services Team at LFS Head Office from 2010 to 2011. Before, she was Credit Advisor at AB Microfinance Nigeria and AccessBank Tanzania. Prior to joining LFS, she worked 3 years as Technical Officer in the Social Finance Unit of the International Labour Organization in Geneva. Ms. Breyer is an Economist and speaks English, Spanish, French and German.
Josefa Brunner has been working for LFS since 2012. Ms. Brunner is HR Manager at the LFS Head Office and supervises the recruitment, staff management and the education of LFS’ business informatics students. Prior to joining LFS, Ms. Brunner worked five years in the sector of cultural events and education. Ms. Brunner is a certified trainer and commercial clerk, holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and speaks German, English and Turkish.
Roland Coulon joined LFS in 2010 and is currently Senior Manager within the Advisory Services Department. He is in charge of setting up an African office in Tanzania and leading the digital finance expertise of LFS. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of AccessBank Tanzania between late 2011 and mid of 2016 and Business & Risk Manager in charge of SME loans and financial control at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria in 2010-11. Prior to joining LFS, he worked for 3 years as Senior Consultant with a French investment company specialised in greenfield microfinance, and 4 years as Senior Strategy Consultant with a major international consulting firm. Mr. Coulon is an Engineer, and speaks French, English and Spanish.
Quentin De Vreese has been working with LFS since 2010. Mr. De Vreese is Senior Consultant and Credit Manager/Deputy General Manager in AccèsBanque Madagascar since 2013. Prior to that, Mr. De Vreese worked for AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria as Head of SME Loans for 2 years, and as Banking Advisor in AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria and AccessBank Liberia. Before joining LFS, Mr. De Vreese worked in the banking sector in Belgium and a microfinance institution in Chile. Mr. De Vreese holds a M. Sc. in Economics and speaks French, English, Spanish and Dutch.
Christoph Diehl has been working for LFS since 2000. Mr. Diehl is responsible for LFS projects in Africa and a member of the Management Board of AccessHolding, as well Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AB Bank Zambia and Director on the Supervisory Board of AccessBank Tanzania. He has 3 years professional experience as General Manager of a former LFS-managed Microfinance Bank in Mozambique, and 7 years experience in senior management positions in MSME and housing finance institution building projects in various countries. Mr. Diehl has an M.Sc. in Economics, and speaks German and English.
Dusko Dimitrov has been working for LFS since 2010. He gained broad experience working with MSMEs from a variety of institutions. Prior to his current position as Head of Micro with AB Bank Rwanda, Mr. Dimitrov has worked as Credit Manager with Access Bank Liberia. Previously he has served as Senior Credit Advisor in Access Bank Tanzania’s SME Department. Before joining LFS, he widened his international banking experience in Sierra Leone and in Serbia. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and E-business. Mr. Dimitrov speaks Hungarian, English, and Serbian.
Ralf Draeger has been working for LFS since 2002. Mr. Draeger is Head of LFS's Commercial Department. Before joining LFS he worked 16 years as controller in an international agrochemical firm, including management accounting functions and affiliate controlling, and about one year as bank controller. Mr. Draeger has an M.Sc. in Business Administration, and speaks German and English.
Jan Ennenbach has been working for LFS since 2010 and joined in 2012 the Advisory Service Department as Regional Manager for MENA, Asia and Latin America. He has 19 years of experience as Consultant in MSME Finance and Financial Systems Development. Mr. Ennenbach has profound experience in developing financial institutions, including organizational development, strategic and operational planning and financial modelling/budgeting, credit risk management and risk rating/due diligence of MFI, product development, MIS and design of refinancing facilities for APEX institutions. He has expertise as Training Expert in designing and conducting training programs for financial institutions.
Sebastian Gaissert has been working with LFS since 2012. Mr. Gaissert currently inherits the position of the Operations Manager/ Deputy COO in the AccessBank Tanzania. Prior to this position, Mr. Gaissert worked as a Banking Services Consultant for the AB Bank Zambia. In addition, Mr. Gaissert was Banking Services and Product Manager at the AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. Before joining LFS, Mr. Gaissert worked 4 years for two large financial institutions in Germany. Mr. Gaissert holds a Master of Arts degree in Development Management and speaks German English and Spanish.
Anne Gossner has been working for LFS since 2008. She is Senior Consultant and currently working as Project Manager in the LFS Advisory Department. Between 2013 and 2015, Ms. Gossner was serving as Chief Credit Officer/Deputy CEO at the AcccessHolding network bank AB Bank Rwanda. Between 2010 and 2013, she worked as LFS consultant in the regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, South East Asia and the Caribbean where she conducted market research and feasibility studies as well as institutional strengthening and capacity building projects for external financial institutions. Previously, she had gained operational experience as Branch Manager and Team leader in the AccessHolding network banks AccessBank Tanzania and AccessBank Liberia. Ms. Gossner holds an M.Sc. in International Economics and speaks German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Dr. Mattias Grammling has been working for LFS since 2010. Mr. Grammling is Senior Consultant, and he works as Manager Advisory Services. Before, Mr. Grammling worked as Chief Executive Officer of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria from 2012-2014, as Chief Credit and Operations Officer, Branch Coordinator and Chief Banking Services Officer with AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. Prior to joining LFS, he worked 7 years as Freelance MSME Finance Consultant all over the world, with particular focus on staff incentive schemes. Mr. Grammling has a PhD and a M.Sc. in Economics, and speaks German, English and Spanish.
Marijana Grujic has been working for LFS since 2007. Ms. Grujic is a Senior Consultant in the Business & Innovation Department at LFS Head Office in Berlin. She worked as Chief Operating Officer at two AccessHolding network banks, AB Bank Rwanda and AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. As Senior Expert for Retail and Operations she worked in the LFS Competency Centre and in various short-term assignments for AccessHolding network banks and LFS advisory projects. Prior to joining LFS, Ms. Grujic worked in microfinance business banks in Serbia, DR Congo and Ghana. Ms. Grujic has a B.Sc. in English Language and Literature, and speaks Serbian, English, French and Spanish.
Marcus Hannappel has been working for LFS since 2007. Mr. Hannappel is Senior Banking Consultant in the Business & Innovation Department at LFS Head Office and Director on the Supervisory Board of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. Before returning to LFS Head Office, he was 1 year Chief Credit Officer / Deputy CEO of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria and 2.5 years Credit Advisor and Branch Manager with this bank and AccèsBanque Madagascar. In addition, he served for 3 years as Director on AccessBank Liberia’s Supervisory Board. Mr. Hannappel has an M.Sc. in Economics, and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
Bertolt Hertzfeldt joined LFS in July 2011 to work as Manager in the Advisory Department. He is a very experienced MSME specialist and has worked in Micro and SME Finance for the last 17 years in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Between 2001 and 2007, he has been Project Manager of large downscaling projects in Kazakhstan and Russia and short-term Consultant on a number of assignments in Asia. From 2007 till 2011, he was as CEO responsible for the set-up and development of a MSME bank in Armenia. He holds Master Degrees from Humboldt University Berlin and the University of Bradford/ United Kingdom. He speaks English, Russian and Farsi.
Corinna Heuer has been working for LFS since 2009. Ms. Heuer is Senior Consultant at LFS Head Office, and Business Analyst in the Business and Innovation Department. Before she was 1.5 years Banking Services Manager of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. Prior to joining LFS, she worked 2 years with the foundation of a German political party in Benin. Ms. Heuer has an M.A. in African Studies and Economics, and speaks German, English, French and Hausa.
Micheal Hoffmann is currently working as the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board for the AccessBank Azerbaijan. Before joining AccessBank in 2012, Michael Hoffmann was with a multilateral development bank for seven years, five of which as Head of a Federal District Resident Office in Russia. Mr. Hoffmann started his career in 1996 with a commercial bank, where he was responsible for the bank’s business in the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). Mr. Hoffmann holds an Executive MBA and a Diploma as an Economist. Mr. Hoffmann is German national and is fluent in German, English and Russian.
Stephan Hödtke has been working for LFS since 2008. Mr. Hödtke is Manager IT Development in our IT Department. Prior to joining LFS, he worked as Software Developer and IT Manager in a private firm in Berlin. Mr. Hödtke has an M.Sc. in Mathematics and speaks German and English.
Antoine Hurpin has been working with LFS since the beginning of 2015 and is currently holding the position of Banking Services Manager at AccésBanque Madagascar. Previously, he worked for a French development finance institution in South-East Asia and in structured finance for an investment bank in Paris. Antoine Hurpin holds a BBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and a M.Sc. from the University of Montréal. He speaks French, German and English.
Christoph Kneiding has been working for LFS since 2010. He is currently the Director of AccessCrédito Brasil, a credit-only microfinance institution based in Manaus. Before he oversaw the set-up of AB Bank Rwanda which opened its doors to the public in January 2014 and held the positions of Credit Manager and CFO of AccessBank Tanzania.Prior to joining LFS, Mr. Kneiding was a researcher for the World Bank’s Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP). He holds a PhD in Economics and speaks German, English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Norman Kruner has been working for LFS since 2007. Mr. Kruner is Manager IT Operations in our IT Department. Prior to joining LFS, he worked 16 years in Berlin with many private firms, starting as an insurance salesman and developing into an IT specialist, whose last position was Manager IT with a subsidiary of a German car manufacturer, before he worked 3 years as Freelance IT Consultant and Insurance Broker. Mr. Kruner is a trained Insurance Salesman, and speaks German and English.
Kyle Lackner has been working for LFS since 2009. He is currently a Consultant on Retail Banking in the Competency Centre in Berlin. Before coming to Germany, he worked for two years as the Banking Services / Operations Manager in AccessBank Liberia. Prior to that, he spent three years as the Executive Assistant to the Management Board in AccessBank Azerbaijan after assisting the Bank for a year and a half as a volunteer. Before going to Azerbaijan, he worked as an equity analyst in the United States. Mr. Lackner has a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy. He speaks English and Azerbaijani.
Stefan Langer has been working for LFS since 2013. He is currently the Credit Manager of AccessCrédito Brazil. Prior to that he was Head of Microlending in the same institution, Branch Manager and Credit Supervisor at AB Bank Rwanda and held different positions in the Investment Unit of AccessHolding, AB Bank Zambia and AccessBank Liberia. Before joining LFS he worked for the German Corporation for International Cooperation. Mr. Langer holds a M.Sc. in Economics, is Alumnus of the Postgraduate Training Programme of the German Development Institute and speaks German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and basic Russian.
Johannes Mainhardt has been working for LFS since 2009. He is Senior Manager at MFO Credo in Georgia. Prior to that, Mr. Mainhardt was Senior Consultant in our Head Office in Berlin. Before, he acted as Chief Credit & Operating Officer as well as Deputy CEO at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria for 2,5 years and as Financial & Operations Manager of AccessBank Tajikistan. In addition, he successfully worked as Consultant with AccessBank in Azerbaijan, and as SME Advisor & Branch Manager with AccessBank Liberia. Prior to joining LFS, Mr Mainhardt worked three years with a leading German bank, working in all fields of banking. Mr. Mainhardt as has a B.A. in Business Administration, specializing in banking and finance, and speaks German, English, French and Russian.
Nurullo Mashrabov has been working for LFS since 2004. Mr. Mashrabov is Head of SME in AB Bank Zambia since 2013. Prior to that, he was working in various AccessBanks, downscaling and upgrading projects of LFS: for 1.5 years as Regional Banking Adviser in Micro, SME and Mortgage Financing Program in Uzbekistan; for 3.5 years as Head of SME with AccessBank Tanzania; for over a year as Branch Manager in AccessBank Azerbaijan; for 6 months as Credit Adviser in Capacity and Institution Building project with a Non-Bank Financial Institution in Mongolia; for 2 years as local credit adviser in MSE Downscaling Program in Uzbekistan. Mr. Mashrabov holds B.Sc. in Business Administration, and speaks Uzbek, Russian, English and Turkish.
Friederike Möllers has been working for LFS since 2009. Ms. Möllers is Senior Consultant, and currently part of the Learning & Development Team in our Head Office in Berlin. Prior to that she worked as Credit Manager / Deputy General Manager of AccèsBanque in Madagascar for two years. Before, Ms. Möllers worked as Credit Advisor at AccessBank Tanzania and as Head of Micro Loans with AccessBank Liberia. Prior to joining LFS, she worked as Junior Consultant for Local Economic Development in Bolivia with the DED German Development Service. Ms. Möllers has an M.A. in Social Sciences, and speaks German, English, Spanish and French.
Claudia Müller has been working for LFS since 2005. Ms. Müller is Senior Consultant and Head of the Business & Innovation Department at LFS Head Office. From 2005 to 2007 she was Operations Manager of AccessBank in Azerbaijan. Before joining LFS, she worked 2 years as Head of Retail Operations with an MSME Bank in Ukraine and 3 years in the telecommunications industry. Ms. Müller has an M.Sc. in Business Administration and Intercultural Management, and speaks German, English and Russian.
Marco Mura has been working for LFS since June 2014. Mr. Mura is Head of the Group Accounting & Reporting Department at LFS Head Office. He previously worked for several years as Investment Officer at a microfinance investment management firm in Switzerland, held the position of Regional CFO for the African operations and the position of Head of Group Accounting & Taxes of a large microfinance network and worked for 4 years at an international audit firm in Luxembourg with a focus on financial services industry. Mr. Mura holds a German university diploma and a BSc in International Business Administration, qualified as Chartered Accountant at the ICAEW and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
Byamba-Ochir Nyamsuren has been working for LFS since 2009. Mr. Nyamsuren is Senior Consultant and currently Chief Credit Officer at AB Bank Zambia. Previously, he held various positions in the same Bank, including Head of Micro Loans, Branch Coordinator and Branch Manager. Before Zambia, he worked as Credit Advisor and Branch Manager at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria for 1.5 years and one year at Access Bank Tanzania. Prior to joining LFS, he worked for a NBFI project in Mongolia for 2.5 years. Mr. Nyamsuren holds a BBM in International Trade and speaks English and Mongolian.
Cosmin Olteanu has been working for LFS since 2006. He is currently Project Manager of the Enterprise Architecture project at Holding level. Before this, Cosmin was Project Manager for the upgrading and implementation of the Core Banking System in the AccessHolding network banks in Africa. Cosmin joined LFS as Credit Manager / Deputy General Manager of AccèsBanque Madagascar, where he stayed until 2009. After this, he was Long-Term Advisor in an upgrading project with two Romanian MFIs. Prior to joining LFS, he worked for four years in MSME banks in Romania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Cosmin has a Diploma in Economics and a Master of Advanced Studies in Development. He speaks Romanian, English, French, Spanish and German.
Andrea Ottina currently holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer and is part of the Management Board of AccessBank Tanzania. He is responsible for the overall areas of innovation, business development, marketing and alternative channels. Mr. Ottina has more than eight years of experience across commercial banks, consulting companies and international organizations. Prior to his current position, he was Head of Branchless Banking as well as Branchless Banking Project Manager for AccessBank Tanzania for four years. In these roles, he was in charge of implementing and developing alternative delivery channels such as mobile banking and agent banking for the bank. He holds a Master of Arts by Research in Social and Political Sciences as well as a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration and Management. Mr. Ottina speaks fluent English, Italian, and Spanish.
Alexander Pinhammer-Zschocher joined LFS in 2010. Mr. Pinhammer is Head of Group Risk Management & Controlling Department of AccessHolding at LFS Head Office. From March 2010 until January 2015, he worked in the Finance Department of AccessHolding and was involved in the establishment of the Group Accounting function. Before joining LFS, Mr. Pinhammer-Zschocher worked 6 years with an international consulting and audit firm, focusing on the financial sector and risk management, lastly as Senior Associate. Mr. Pinhammer-Zschocher has a M.Sc. in Economics and speaks German, English and French.
Carlos Pumar has been working for LFS since 2012. Mr. Pumar is Manager of the Learning & Development Department in our Head Office in Berlin. Prior to joining LFS, he worked for 7 years in different senior management positions in banks attending MSME clients in Eastern Europe and Latin America. In addition, he worked as Project Manager of a microfinance fund that provided technical assistance and financing to MFIs and banks in West Africa. Also, he worked as short-term Consultant in projects focussed on the credit business of MFIs in the Mena Region as well as in Latin America. Mr. Pumar is an Economist and speaks English, Spanish, French and German.
Rolf Reichardt is Executive Director Finance/Treasury in AccessBank Azerbaijan. Before joining LFS in Mai 2014, he has worked for more than 20 years in various risk management functions for some of the largest German banks. Previously, he was the treasurer of a German specialist credit institution. He is a member of an Expert Group within the Financial Market Association Germany. Furthermore, he has contributed to academic research on accounting and finance issues. Rolf Reichardt studied Economics. Born in Germany, he speaks fluently German, English, French, and basic Russian.
Martin Rohler has been working for LFS since 2000. Mr. Rohler is Senior Consultant and Rural Finance Manager at LFS Head Office. Before he worked as a Manager Advisory Services. From October 2004 to November 2006 he was Credit Manager / Deputy General Manager of a former LFS-managed Microfinance Bank in Mozambique. Previously, he worked as Senior Consultant at Head Office, and in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mozambique and Tajikistan. Mr. Rohler holds an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics, and speaks German, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Arah Sadava assumed the CEO role at AB Bank Rwanda starting in April 2015. She joined LFS initially as the Retail/Banking Services Manager at Access Bank Liberia in March 2014. Prior to that, she worked as a microfinance and rural banking specialist in Philippines for seven years. Mrs Sadava later moved to East Africa to manage transformation projects. After having succeeded with those projects, she served for a well-known MF bank as the Chief Operations Officer initially in Tanzania, and then in Mozambique. In 2009, she accepted the CEO post for a licensed non-bank financial institution in Ghana. Arah later on moved to Ethiopia to serve as the Project Manager for a rural savings project. In 2011, Arah joined one of the largest licensed MFIs in Cambodia as the CEO.
Katharina Schachtner has been working for LFS since 2003. Ms. Schachtner is Senior Banking Consultant and Project Manager at AccessBank Azerbaijan. From September 2011 until September 2015 she was General Manager of AccessBank Tajikistan. Before, she was for 2 years Investment & Controlling Officer of AccessHolding, after working 5 years in senior management positions in MSE downscaling projects in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, last from 2006 to 2008 as Project Manager of the Tajikistan Micro and Small Enterprise Facility. Prior to joining LFS, Ms. Schachtner worked 10 years in two German commercial banks and in the advertising industry. Ms. Schachtner has an M.Sc. in Business Administration, and speaks German, English and Russian.
Dr. Jessica Schicks is working for LFS since April 2013. She is the Chief Operations Officer and Deputy CEO of AB Bank Zambia. Before joining LFS Ms Schicks was an international banking consultant for a leading global strategy consulting firm, working in retail and corporate banking as well as inclusive finance. She has also worked on a broad range of short-term engagements in the public and private sector, including microfinance work with the German development bank, with the UN, and with a microfinance institution in Ghana. Ms Schicks is a member of the Smart Campaign’s Client Voice International Advisory Council. She holds a PhD in Economics and Management, a Masters level degree (Dipl.Oec) in Economics and Management and an MPhil in Development Studies. Ms Schicks speaks German, English and French.
Patrick Schöneborn has been working for LFS since 2004. Mr. Schoeneborn is currently deployed to AccessHolding where her serves as Head of the Investment Unit with responsibility for all equity and debt transactions of the company. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Schoeneborn served for 3 years in senior management roles at AccessBank Tanzania, as Chief Credit Officer and Chief Executive Officer respectively. Before, he carried out various other head office and field assignments for LFS and AccessHolding, and was involved in the establishment of several Greenfield microfinance banks across Africa for the AccessGroup. Mr. Schoeneborn has an M.Sc. in Industrial Strategy and speaks German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Armando Sirolla joined LFS in 2013. Mr. Sirolla is Senior Consultant, and since November 2013 Chief Executive Officer of AB Bank Zambia. Prior to joining LFS, he was engaged as a consultant for a number of projects in Sub Saharan Africa and completed an assignment as Credit Management Advisor for the largest cooperative financial group in Canada, in order to support their SMEs Financial Institution’s subsidiaries in Eastern Africa (Tanzania and Uganda). Earlier, Mr. Sirolla worked as the CEO for a Network offering microfinance services through integrated development programmes and self-standing microfinance institutions in Madagascar; and as a Program Manager for Rural Microcredit Programme in Afghanistan. Before this, he led projects for the European Union with private sector companies in Belgium, Portugal, and the UK. Mr. Sirolla holds a Master's of Science in International Economics and Politics and a Master's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy, and speaks French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
Hedvig Sundberg rejoined LFS in 2010 after having worked for LFS from 2007 to 2009. Ms. Sundberg is Senior Consultant, and since October 2011 Chief Credit Officer / Deputy CEO of AccessBank Tanzania, after working for 1 year as Chief Credit Officer of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria. Before she was one year Operations Consultant with a Nigerian MFI and 1.5 years Credit Advisor with AccessBank Tanzania and AccèsBanque in Madagascar. Ms. Sundberg has an M.Sc. in Business Administration, and speaks Swedish, English and French.
Leo Armel Tchoudjang Nzoutchoum has been working for LFS since 2014. Mr. Tchoudjang is a Senior Banking Advisor at LFS Head Office in Berlin. He is the CIO of AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria and part of the management board in Nigeria. Prior to joining LFS, he worked in IT consulting, Banking and Telecom industries mainly in Europe and Africa where he managed various internal and cross-border strategic projects. Mr. Tchoudjang holds a polytechnic engineering degree, a complementary master specialized in Microfinance, a certificate in Financial Engineering & Risk Management and speaks English and French.
Mikhail Velichko has been with LFS since February 2016 and holds the position of CEO of AccèsBanque Madagascar. He has over fifteen years of professional experience in banking and investments. Previously, he worked for a Swiss-based company specialized in investment in microfinance managing portfolios in ECA and MENA regions. Before that, Mr. Velichko spent four years in Africa managing operations of a network of microfinance banks in six countries. Mr. Velichko holds a Master’s Degree in Banking from Odessa National Economic University in Ukraine and speaks English, French, Russian and Ukrainian.
Alexandra Weichesmiller has been working for LFS since 2008. Ms. Weichesmiller is Senior Consultant, and Head of the Internal Audit Department that supervises the internal audit functions of AccessHolding network banks and AccessHolding itself. Prior to joining LFS, she worked 2 years as Senior Auditor with a major international audit firm, and one year as Executive Advisor with a German commercial bank. Ms. Weichesmiller has a B.Sc. in Business Administration, and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
Pawel Wodz has been working for LFS since 2009. Mr. Wodz is Senior Consultant and since mid 2014 working with AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria as the Chief Credit Officer. Prior to that he was part of the Management Team at AccessBank Tanzania (about one and a half year)- first as a Senior Expert for Finance & Treasury, and later as a Credit Manager and Deputy CEO. Before, Mr. Wodz worked as a Credit Manager / Deputy General Manager of AccessBank Liberia for about two years. Before, Mr. Wodz worked first as Credit Advisor with AccessBank Tanzania and then with AccessBank Liberia holding positions of Branch Manager and Head of SMELending. Prior to joining LFS, he worked two years as Business Analyst with international strategic consultancies in theirs Warsaw offices. Mr. Wodz has a Master in Finance and Banking and speaks Polish, English and German.
Christoph Ziegler has been working for LFS since 2001. Mr Ziegler is Senior Manager of our IT Solutions Dept. overseeing myMBS and T24 LMB Banking Software Solution implementations. Prior to that, Mr Ziegler worked as Resident Advisor in the Micro, SME and Mortgage Financing Programme in Uzbekistan, General Manager of AccessBank Tajikistan, Senior Banking Consultant at LFS Head Office, Credit Manager of AccessBank in Azerbaijan, Project Manager of an MSE downscaling programme in Tajikistan, and Deputy Project Manager of an MSE downscaling programme in Uzbekistan. Mr. Ziegler holds an M.A. in Economics and Eastern European Studies, and speaks German, English, Russian and Polish.
